Many of our customers are conscious of the environment and ingredients contained in the purchase of their cosmetics. Plant and mineral-based ingredients are becoming superior alternatives to animal-infused cosmetics and can provide a world of difference to the health and appearance of your skin. Within these ingredients contain beneficial properties which can:

  • heal skin that is prone to breakouts
  • soothe dry and irritable skin
  • Infuse the skin with antioxidants and minerals which improve the overall complexion

All of the cosmetics provided by Lucie Lavelle are Vegan and made from high quality mineral & plant based ingredients. Some of the common ingredients used in our products are listed below:

Bees Wax

This product is commonly used in Lipsticks. Bees wax contributes to the thickness of the product which allows for structure. The results allow for a smooth application whilst keeping the product solid (however not to point where it hardens) which means you will also have a solid moisture rick lipstick.

Ricinus Communis (castor seed oil)

Castor seed oil provides skin care benefits such as treating skin diseases like ulcers, particularly those which as caused due to bacterial infections.

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba seed oil)

Jojoba is a commonly used ingredient in many natural cosmetics for its skin conditioning effects. Some other benefits is that it unclogs pores, treatment of chapped skin and acne.

Silica

Known as a miracle vitamin, Silica helps promote radiant skin. Silica is thought to clear stored toxins located layers under the skin by deeply penetrating connective tissues.

Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E)

Vitamin E has proven to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions which aids in healing and protection of skin cells as well as anti-ageing benefits. It also helps reduce damage caused to the skin by UV rays which is a blessing for our hot Australian summers. Not only does it provide hydration to the skin but also prevents any further water loss.
